They would never trade Bogut and Sessions. They might trade Sessions but why would we want Bogut?

Sessions and Kurt Thomas for Rudy, Blake and Outlaw with an S & T.

I would go for this, but keep web-head. But you've said some ridic stuff before, so I doubt it would work legally

I'm only "thinking outside the box" like each and every other poster here. None of us work in the NBA, so why be bashful with generating ideas. I think it is fun.

Personally, I think we need a "big" and a "PG" - not sure what the TURK thing was all about. And it is sounding more and more that he was our one big play? Yikes. Turk wasn't even addressing our two primary needs.

Bogut is costly @ $12m per year for another 4 years.

With Oden's health uncertain (can he really go 82 games?) and his foul trouble woes - Bogut would give us a 5 that can score! A scoring center (no knock on Pryz...love the guy....but he just doesn't score) would do as much as what Turk's addition was going to do for us.

Most of us here like the idea of Sessions.

I think if we were to free up the Bucks of Boguts very large contract - and give them some solid in return (Pryz/Outlaw/Blake/Picks - whatever) then I think the Bucks may be in such an economic crunch, that this could be feasible.

Sessions/Bayless/Mills (young as hell, but we have Roy/Rudy if need-be to run the offense)
    Roy/Rudy
Batum/Webster (now a potential weak spot)
    LMA/Pendergraph/Claver
Bogut/Oden (shared minutes for sure - I don't care who starts)

If Webs can't play (foot), then we'd be in a pickle - so Rudy would get additional minutes at the 3...or we'd have to pick up a 3 at the trade deadline in 2010.

I take issue with the claim that you are "thinking" This is just throwing stuff against the wall and hoping something will stick.

Not trying to be too harsh, but you keep saying over and over in your various trade posts you are not taking this too seriously, you're just doing this for fun, (which is great, but ...) if you want it to be fun for everyone else this probably ins't the way to do it.

So you are saying that you are more intelligent and your ideas more legitimate?

Would you have predicted Gasol to the Lakers? Jefferson to the Spurs? Vince to Orlando? Shaq to the Cavs? I just don't see that my suggesting - Bogut to the Blazers - is as outlandish as the above. [I'm just trying to figure out how to land Sessions]

I do my best to review trade-checker, read articles on the various team's operating revenues, etc. PS: Can you believe Portland actually lost money last year? ...but saw an increase in franchise valuation of over 20% from the previous year?

All I'm saying is that I'm not 100% stupid....100% of the time!

I'm not offensive. I NEVER bash anyone's ideas or thoughts...and believe me, some posts are far more "reaching" than mine.

Not sure I "said anything" - but offered up a question to you:

    :tsktsk:

    Are you not having fun?

    OK..let's stop. I'm sure you're a great guy!

So: How about Outlaw/Blake/pick for Hinrich? You'd like that one?

    Yikes. :NOTMARIS:

I see now. You've NEVER posted a trade idea of your own.

    Hmmmmmm

    The critical type!

Void of one's own ideas! I get it now.

Yes, much better ... but with Ben Gordon gone from the Bulls I doubt they are going to be in any great hurry to get rid of Kirk. At thsi point the deal would probably have to be Blake/Rudy or Rudy/Travis.

I am almost about to block you. NOTHING you post ever is even close to anything in the realm of possibility.

That is a stupid trade idea. As usual.

If you ignore him, you'll have to double down on idog1976 as well since I think they're the same person. He/they have so many good trade ideas, he/they had to split up the posts between two handles.

If anything, I don't think they're getting enough value for our talent. I propose the following trades:

Blake to NO => C.Paul (cost cutting move for NO)
(resigned) Frye and (unretired) LaFrentz to UTAH => D.Williams & Millsap (just because the Jazz like us)
rights to Freeland/Koponen to MINN => Rubio (Euros for a Euro)
Bayless to SAS => Jefferson & Parker (SAS does this on the pure upside of Bayless)
Outlaw & $1mill to CLE => L.James (they're going to lose him anyways so why not get some cash in return?)
Webster to NJ => D.Harris (NJ does it because a lot of PDX fans want it)
whatever table scraps we have leftover to NYK => D.Lee

    Resulting roster:

    PG: Paul/Williams/Parker/Harris/Rubio (solid rotation)
    SG: Roy (no backup needed)
SF: LeBron/Jefferson/Batum (good tutoring for Batum, who will take over as starter in 2-3 yrs)
PF: LMA/Lee/Millsap (good bangability in reserve)
C: Oden/Pryz (I like this combo just fine so let's just leave it as is)

edit: no Rudy b/c he's going back to Spain. If he does stay, we trade him back to NBA HQ & D.Stern for three (3) extra fouls for Oden per game.

I think that addresses most of our weaknesses. Whatever new issues surface during the 09-10 season, we'll trade our upcoming late first round and a future 2nd rounder for the #1 overall pick and take BPA.

I'm not sure how the salaries, cap and such work out but that's why we have Penn.

    Make it happen, KP.

    I'm not BoomChakalaka.

I am a trade fiend but I like to think most of my trades are actually realistic in that the trading partner would go for them.

I'm not Idog. I'm a trade fiend too - and I see (today) others proposing trades to land Rubio - while I get blasted? Oh well.

....and talk of trading Pryz? I lost my head over it.

Weather you "like it" or not is up to you, of course! But trading Pryz/Outlaw/Blake/Picks to the Bucks for Bogut and Sessions (S&T) is not unrealistic?

Was Bogut an All Star? So why is this so outlandish? Bogut has four more years at $12m each. I'd think the Bucks would unload for Pryz/Outlaw/Blake and Pick! - -- - and our PG of the future.

PS: Idog - I think Battier (two-three years ago) would fit. I wouldn't mind having him however, since he is a great character guy and all - but with two conditions: 1) we only lose Outlaw + Pick over this trade; 2) we bolster our PG position with something that will help the team now. As much as I am not interested in Hinrich, I would change my mind with an addition of Battier and put together a very strong defensive-minded team, by bringing in Hinrich. And I would make a big play for Lee as a F/A.

    Hinrich/Bayless/Mills
    Roy/Rudy
    Battier/Batum/Webs
    LMA/Lee
    Oden/Pryz

This could be strong. Very defensive-looking team.

Additons of Hinrich, Battier and Lee - not bad.

How would you get Battier without giving up Przybilla?

Hinrich is ok if you have 100% faith in Bayless as the answer at PG. I have about 70 to 85% faith that will happen which I suppose isn't really faith so much as hope.

If you trade Przybilla for Battier, Outlaw and Blake for Hinrich and sign Lee that is a pretty solid team. I think you have to trade Joel to get Battier. Sessions is the dream but I would accept Hinrich.
