Re: Quick on 1080(take it for w/e it's worth)

I think it's a little bit harder than a no brainer for KP and the gang since they value Nicolas a lot, IMO. What's going to be the difference for them from the trade deadline and now in their value of Batum's potential versus Wallace now?
Is KP feeling the pressure? I mean, I'd give up Nicolas in the right deal but we're just fans. I'd love to have KP answer that question of what the real goal for Nicolas is.

Not really great. He averages about 1.5 taken per game, which means he plays inside out. So I don't see it being a big problem. For Andre Miller, I would see it as being a problem.

If the plan were to deal Przybilla (with or without Outlaw/Webster) in order to get Wallace and then they signed Lee, I'd consider that a pretty brilliant off-season.

no.. but I highly doubt that we would be a S & T route for LEE.. so if we got Lee and Kept him.. I would rather use an asset to shore up another need.

Milwaukee would have to be colluding with Portland in order to do that deal. Absolutely awful trade for Milwaukee.

I wouldn't do it if it meant losing Przybilla. Joel is too valuable as long as Oden remains foul and/or injury prone.

I like all those players.. however our Shooting would be atrocious with that starting 5. Aldridge being the 2nd best perimeter shooter would scare me..

Me too. I'd much rather deal any number of Blazers, but they're going to want someone cheap and skilled. I'm not giving up Batum and we have a real need for Bayless at this point and I believe Batum will be as good or better than crash.

I agree, but I have two concerns:

    1) Joel is still badly needed if Oden continues to progress slowly.

    2) LA would take a beating at center and he'd be pretty darn unhappy about it. Plus, he scores a lot from the outside and we wouldn't want our center that far out.

It doesn't have to. We're below the salary cap by a large amount.

Wallace would be with the Blazers for at least 3 years and not count over $10M against the cap until year 3. Such a good deal.

    UGHHHHH

Yeah, I agree. I added a pick to it. I think that might fly. Sessions, Ridnour and Jennings? That would be odd to go into a season with. If Milwaukee can get a cheap contract and a 1st round pick I think they might do it.

stupid question - since we can offer unbalanced trades, how unbalanced can they be?
