I actually didn't want the trade to happen. I wouldn't mind stealing Milsap from the Jazz, but I would rather leave the Jazz over the cap and down a key player.

 

WHOOOO! I want no part of a 3-team trade where we get the worst player.

 

I'm not upset about this either. I want something done, but not this.

Possible offer for Millsap?

People do realize that our cap space is going to be more valuable as we get closer to the trade deadline, right?

 

I think the Jazz will move Boozer and match any offer Portland gives Milsap. Not a god situation to get Milsap on the team, unless they want to S & T which I would doubt.

We still have time to use the cap space, but using all of it for Hinrich just doesn't get me very excited. Utah better hope they can find a deal for Boozer soon. I hope Portland submits the offer now just to mess with them.

 

I think we're holding out for a deal that's better for us, and it will likely come this Fall.

 

Ha yeah.. and RLEC was the best expiring contract in the history of the NBA. We've seen that before. haha.

KP has gone on record as saying he doesn't like making moves in the middle of the season, so even if the cap space is more valuable it probably won't get used at all if it isn't before the season starts.

I mean, it is possible a deal would go down, but highly doubtful.

No, I want to have logical discussions and not have to filter out 50% of the posts where people are totally overreacting or making zero sense. I'm fine with people who are bummed we haven't made a move, but I'm tired of the people who say our franchise is falling part because we haven't made a move 3 days into free agency.
