Im trying to find how Jordan Farmar is doing but I cant find anything for him specifically that isnt out of date
Farmar busted towards the end of day 3 bad news for Ivey fans. He just went from 1.2 mil to 200k in a few hands.
Dan Harrington must be one of the most lucky SOBs out there. All he does is play the best hand and then play it strong... or I guess that's what his table image is. Who knows, but he always seems to make it to the end.
yes Ivey improbably came all the way back to 1.4 or so yesterday, as of 3:10 PST today over 2M and in around #22-23 place with 136 left. for High Stakes Poker fans, antonio esfandieri is in great shape at #27 or so. sebock fading, needs to double up very soon
what's more amazing is that with about 2% of the field left 2 of last year's Nov. 9 Dennis Phillps and the champ Peter Eastgate have survived and are (by random draw) at the same table right now.
through updates on poker twitter sites, mainly http://tweet.pkrrd.com/nation also watching http://www.pokernews.com/wsop/2009/event-57/ but their servers are pretty overloaded and it's really slow
2005 ME champion joe hachem is at the same table as eastgate and phillips, as is WPT superstar JC Tran. pretty sick table this late in the ME. ESPN filming it.
end of day 6, 64 left looks like Ivey sitting #3 now(!), Esfandieri #6, Sebok and Phillips short but still in defending champ Eastgate out in about 76
It's unfair that someone as good as Ivey can have so many chips. He should be forced to always be short-stacked to make it somewhat fair.
