For the price, Kirilenko may be equal to our SF's, but even as it is now, he's certainly smarter than Outlaw and more productive than Batum and Webster...

Point taken, but he's still a better all around producer.

Kirilenko is a shell of the player he once was. He's no longer a lockdown defender and still can't shoot a J.

you've got to use some funny math to make their prices equal

    AK in 2009-10 = 16.4M
    NB+TO+MW (1.1+3.6+4.4) in 2009-10 = 9.1M

I think Kirilenko has slowed to the point he's probably better suited to guarding 4's then 3's. I wouldn't be surprised to see them bringing him off the bench next season.

My only question about this trade, is ... can we somehow get involved and pry Prince from the Palace (at Auburn Hills)?

Just two weeks ago, Boozer opted to remain with the Jazz for the final year of his contract. But the two-time All-Star told a Chicago radio station Tuesday he expects the Jazz to trade him.

“The Jazz told me they want to go in a different direction and I respect their decision,” Boozer said Tuesday during an interview with WMVP. “We mutually agreed to work out a trade that was beneficial for them and beneficial for my family and me. So with that being said I’m gonna be traded relatively soon or in good time

I love Batum, but I'm shocked at how highly valued he is around this board.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Webster is out, if Cunningham challenges him for the starting SF spot. He is more polished offensivly, has a better NBA body, and yes, he knows how to defend. That's what happens when you go to school for a few years at Villanova.

By "out" do you mean unable to physically perform, or "out" as in bought out or traded for a sack of garbage?

I do agree that it's possible Cunningham could challenge for some spot minutes at the three spot, but I don't think there's any way he seriously competes for the starting job, not with Nicolas in front of him ... anything can happen I guess :dunno:

I think of a lot of Cunningham, but he's not quick enough to guard NBA starting threes.
