Anyone heard about the scrimmage for summer league today? I know they have no game but they were saying on the radio that the SL team was scrimmaging something, i think it was the warriors, but I'm not sure.

I will not be making it to Vegas this summer, but have been to the last five. It is pretty general knowledge that teams scrimmage other teams that are not on their schedule on their off days. The year Roy/Aldridge were down there together it was widely reported that they were killing everyone in those scrimmages and that they were actually more productive than the games themselves. It seems that the rookies feel less intimidated in those settings than in the actual games. I do remember that Ha got tendinitis in a knee due to scrimmaging too much.

Actually the thing I find is funny is that Portland doesn't get to play the first 3 days of the league. Then they play one game and then get one day off? WTF is up with that schedule. If you need to, make more games, but don't burn a teams time for nothing. The more games the better for these young guys for all the teams. They get more exposure if they are trying to find a team, and coaches and GM's get a better look because there are more games.
