The mods here do allow trolling for some reason, it's weird. I've never seen anything like it. Pretty much every forum out there would have banned him by now, but what can you do.
Now, now, it's the rage talking. Don't take your anger at Bayless out on me (or Ed....or poor barfo). Bayless is going to be just fine!
My halftime thoughts: Bayless Shot looks better Made some good passes, but his teammates couldn't convert Made some bad decisions, and paid for it. Gets himself in trouble when he forces the issue His defense looks much improved. Cunningham Love his mid-range game. Not as good on the boards tonight as Monday. If he can't stop Chase, he's not going to be able to defend any SF's in the NBA, so I guess he's strictly a PF. Pendergraph Shot looks nice, even in traffic. Hands haven't been as soft as I'd like. Clearly isn't a center, having a hard time keeping Dorsey off the boards.
Well, site rules and such. Negativity/unpopular opinions allowed, personal attacks not allowed. It's something to take up with admin if you're displeased. People can just...not respond. It's interesting to me that people choose to get trolled and then complain about trolls. If you think someone is trying to troll you...don't take the bait?
Not Bayless' best performance, but how much can you really blame him? There were some turnovers like the forced pass and the travel that were horrendous and then I don't know if he got creditied for the turnover, but that phantom over and back was called which seemed weird to me. Then other turnovers are just not his fault. You have to give him credit he is looking to get others invovled, if not, he would have had 20+ by this point still looking to score.
Any smart mod can easily to tell the difference between an unpopular opinion and trolling, but I'm not going to go on about this again. It's clear this site allows trolling so I just choose to try and deal with it. This site needs as much activity as it can get, I get it.
Basically this. And belittling its users ("Ahh... that's just the disappointment. And that's just the rage...") is par for the course too. Unpopular opinions? Sure, those are fine and in fact fun to read because, when thoughts are well-construed, it leads to solid debate. But don't pass off trolling and spam as "unpopular opinion."
A smart user can easily stop responding to someone they've identified as a troll and even block posts from that person. Believe me, I admire your bravery and tolerance. It's not a question of boosting activity for me, but you're free to believe what you like.
Says the person who opened the exchange by calling moderators "douches." Is it belittling to suggest you look up the word "irony?"
Larry Miller seems ignorant of what the Blazers are doing on the basketball side. Really, it was like he was a cheerleader during the interview.
