Yup. I think so. Dante is better than Travis, right now. That guy has got some game. I want to see him replace Travis!

I think Cunningham is smarter, but won't really be better for a couple of years. Although Cunningham is a lot better defensively. He rotates really well, and has a grasp on passing as well.

Yeah, I agree. But I been watching this guy and finding out everything I can about him online. I think he is better than Outlaw. Right now. Not just based on 2 SL games.

I see what you are trying to do, but you fail.

    Likewise.

Actually I agree with you in certain ways. I can tell you that Dante Cunningham has more basketball IQ than Travis does after 6 years in the league. He is fundamenatally strong, and knows how to play defense. I also think in the scheme of forwards, he is more polished offensivly than Batum (Who isn't). He is also a superior rebounder to Outlaw, as he is much more of a physical player. My concern is he a tweener, or is he versatile? That is what I worry about.

It doesn't matter if its summer league. He has stronger fundamentals than Travis does. You can see it just watching. He knows the game. Does it make up for Travis freakish athleticism? Maybe, maybe not. My guess it does.

Mostly, I think he has far better IQ. That is very important to me. I think he shoots close to or just as good as Travis. He is stronger. He plays better D (I think due to his higher BBIQ). He actually wants to rebound the ball, unlike Trav.

So, without going all novel posting... I think Dante is just as good a shooter, WAY better at rebounding and has WAY higher BBIQ. Those things are important to me. And he is younger.

So how did Cunningham fall all the way to the 2nd round? A player better than Outlaw right now deserves to be a 1st rounder. I think he might be a serviceable back up this year, but there is no way he deserves more minutes than Outlaw. If Outlaw is traded, he would probably fill a good role as a dependable mid range shooter on the 2nd unit when needed.

haha.. OK man.. and I'm not even that big of a fan of Travis, but at least the guy is proven while Dante is playing against Maarty Leunen and Paul Davis.

That is your opinion. That is not a fact.

Blair slipped to deep in the 2nd round. And by opinion, he was a lottery pick. Shit happens in the draft.

I can see he has better IQ, but defense against Marty Leunen is not the same as defense against Paul Pierce. I'm sure Travis could get a ton of blocks in SL, but that wouldn't mean much. Does Cunningham's IQ negate Outlaw's ability to create shots (and make ridiculous ones) or, like you said, his ridiculous athleticism? I wouldn't say so.

I remember when Jason Kidd played his first preseason game and Bay Area pundits proclaimed him better than Magic Johnson. Kidd has had a damn good career, but whether he is better than Magic is debatable. Whether that judgment could be made on so little information is not.

So you would have traded Outlaw for a 2nd round draft pick this year? LoL

Huh? What the fuck are you getting at? I saw one thing and you just go left field ape shit and put words in my mouth?

Marcus Camby got traded for a 2nd rounder. I am pretty sure he is better than Outlaw.

Now, do you have anything relevant to say? Or is your next post going to be... "What, so if Camby got traded then you would go 75 on the freeway?!"
