I am sure this has been posted, but re-reading wont hurt if you have. This is the grades for the teams involved and I agree completely with what the article says. Portland truly was the winner of this.

    I agree with that assessment.

I don't think it's very fair to give an A- for not making a move. That seems overly generous. :)

    Also, I disagree that the Hedo-Lee for Carter-Anderson deal is a net loss. I think it's a significant--potentially HUGE--step up.

I have to say, this was my reaction as well.

If Hedo used his size to be a serious contributor on the boards, or on defense, I could see the argument. Since Hedo makes only modest contributions in those areas, and is not as good as Carter on offense, how does the author twist this into a "net loss"? He must really have a high opinion on Lee's potential.

I agree. I'm fairly high on Lee, but I'm probably equal high on Anderson as well. Both should be solid role players in the league for years to come.

I wish back in school I got an A- every time I failed at accomplishing my objective.

It looks like you didn't have time to finish your essay. Since it looks like you would have got the wrong answer if you DID finish, you get an A-.

I'm pretty sure that's Portland State's grading policy!
That doesn't make any sense, Portland could've made him a bigger offer than they did.

If the grade is dependent on what the Blazers do with the 7.7 mil in cap space . . . shouldn't the current grade be an incomplete?

I wish the writer was my teacher.
