The ESPY's need a "most disappointing loss" category. The easy winner for me would have been OSU getting clownstomped, at home, by their arch rival in a game that would have sent them to the Rose Bowl. Ah, memories.

That was no doubt a disappointing day. On the other hand, you might remember that the Ducks were picked in the pre-season to finish 2nd or 3rd. The Beavs lost the front 7 of their defense and were picked to finish 6th. It took the last game of the season (unfortunately beating my guys) just for your guys to move up to tie OSU. No doubt about it, we'd have loved to had the Roses but it was still a great season.
I actually felt bad for my Beaver friends. Now, I was overjoyed that the Ducks won and took the Rose Bowl trip from the Beavers, but I did have empathy for my Beaver buddies, and some of them seemed quite literally depressed for a while after the game.
