Yep and most importantly he gives them a little edge. Hes tough as nails, doesn't take sh*t from anyone, lays hard fouls, hes a team leader, he was money in the playoffs for the W's (I think that's the only playoff team hes ever been on). He'll give depth and hes capable of being playing that combo forward role should SVG decide to go back to last year's dual combo forward system for certain stretches. He can be a little erratic at times but hes a nice all around player and gives the Magic a tough guy who's a good locker room presence. I'm actually looking forward to a Magic-Celtics playoff series. Can't wait to see what Barnes does when the C's start talking shit and acting like bafoons. Dude lays HARD fouls when hes pissed and likes to start shit. I don't think hes ever actually started a fight but he comes off as a legit dude you don't wanna fuck with as opposed to KG's fake tough guy routine. Barnes will definitely get in KG's face at some point, here's to hoping he actually swings!
I do like what they are doing in terms of adding depth and versitility to the roster. Barnes is another piece to add into an already complex and talented puzzle.

They must be done, or close to it. They have the trade exception, but I think they plan to save it and see if anyone gets hurt or if they have a glaring weakness around the deadline.

Shaq doesn't go out of his way to mess with 6'2 guards. KG starts shit with small guys all the time, he instigates. I dunno what hes trying to prove but I've never seen him pull any of that BS with any big NBA tough guys. Its always tiny guys who are generally unaggressive. i.e. KG would try to punk me because I'm a tiny normal looking dude who stands no chance against him. You've gotta be blind if you don't see KG instigating, I DO know that he does it because I've seen the douche bag do it regularly, especially since hes been in Boston. And for what its worth Shaq just challenged Brock Lesnar to a MMA fight. Granted its not happening, not any time soon at least, the dude is a black belt in some type of martial art. And Shaq would own Brad Miller.
KG instigates shit with everybody. You are blind if you don't see that. He plays harder and with more passion than anyone so that gets under peoples skin. The only time you see people go back at him are little guards because they know they won't get messed with back.
