    W00T! W00T! I've always been a fan of Jack Wilson's glove and Clement wasn't even the top young catcher in the organization anymore, so this a great deal IMO. It might be too late this year to make a run for the division, but if the Mariners can keep adding on in terms of talent (while keeping their current players), they could be dangerous. Ian Snell was also great for me in fantasy baseball last year, so I'm glad to see they landed him too

    I like the trade, but what happened to Clement? If you can't even beat out Rob Johnson for backup catcher as a former first round pick, something has gone wrong.

    Well they wanted Clement to keep getting consistent PT, and Johnson had better defense. The problem was that Clement was no longer our best catcher prospect as Adam Moore emerged, and Clement moved to 1B where he's only average.
