So whats next for Griffin? a fight with Rich Franklin? Loser of Rashad/Rampage? Winner of Jardine/Thiago Silva? rematch with Tito? With that kind of loss I'd imagine he'd be out of the title picture for a long time.

For me personally, I would want to see him go against Rich Franklin. It's another tough match up but one that's winnable for Griffin and it's a pretty good fight for the fans. Both guys are jack of all trades type fighters and no one has a significant advantage over the other.

An eventual rematch with Rampage would be fun too but I don't it'll happen for a while and I think by the time it happens it would have lost a lot of its appeal to the fans (if it hasn't lost all appeal already)

So what do you guys think?

First thing I thought was a rematch with Jardine. Thiago would be a good fight too. I don't think Tito would fight him, and I think Franklin would be wildly entertaining but I can't see it happening for some reason.

Forrest is a popular fighter who will have fan support despite his recent antics. All of the fights you've suggested would be appropriate, but I wouldn't be surprised if they gave him something a little easier than that--perhaps a Houston Alexander-type fight.

I don't think they give him a guy like Houston after coming off of 2 KOs

Boooo, so does not need to happen.

With Griffin's popularity, it's hard to think of a fighter that wouldn't be a total joke to be fighting Griffin and at the same time being an easy fight for Griffin.

    Either Franklin/Forrest or Forrest/Jardine II.

Looks like Houston's not in the UFC anymore since he is booked for a September Adrenaline show.
