Local bands do their best to butcher the Blazers' theme

Some of these are pretty terrible.

Honestly it doesn't get much better. But yeah. Yeah.

 

Strange Tones were the best if you take out the hippie solo...and the really bad "choreography"

 

Dear lord... these are pretty bad. I hope they get better for the sake of having to listen to these every broadcast.
I don't see why the need to change it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I just love the old-school vibe from the original. Some things this franchise does boggles my mind sometimes..

 

I liked a couple of the ideas, but the execution was terrible.

I hope they don't play this crap inside the arena.

 

I like the strutting screaming guy.

 

On balance, these renditions were William Hung-esque.

 

OMFG first band is TERRIBLE!!!!! Is that guy ever going to stop screaming?
2nd band is pretty shitty too. Gross. Can't even hit the right notes.
That solo dude doing all the music himself is pretty cool. Except when he started doing vocals.

Why do these d bags think they need vocals?

Anyhow...

4th band was cool. They kept fucking up too though. And stealing Stevie Wonders keyboard sound!
Band with the chick was rad! They had a good sound. Old dude on the guitar had MAJOR skills!
LOL 6th band was awful.
7th band was even worse. Terrible sound. Hella old person sounding.

 

My favorite was the Strange Tones (band with the girl) version.
