He'll be a decent replacement for Wally or Pavlovic.

I don't think I've ever heard of this player. Is he an undrafted FA or something?

He played with the Warriors last year. A big man who can shoot and isn't a defensive liability.

bad numbers but that fresh-faced all-american look makes him a nice acquisition.

Hes not bad as a last-line of defense big man. Hes also the type of guy who can all of a sudden look like a decent NBA player next to Shaq. He had a couple 20 pt games for Don Nelson last season. He can shoot it, hes an ok rebounder, hustles, plays the right way generally. Hes pretty short and not very athletic but he can probably produce a little bit in spot minutes and he'll get lots of open looks playing off of Shaq and LeBron.
