fuck 2 1/2 hours til my draft ITS gonna be MJD or Forte and Im leaning heavily towards MJD Anybody wanna try to convince me one more time that Forte> MJD?
Well, Forte has a much better passing game to work with. Harder to stack the defense vs him, which should open things up a little. Jacksonville has no WR's as well. There.
I had the #2 pick in my draft today, here is my team: Forte, Matt RB CHI Manning, Peyton QB IND Portis, Clinton RB WAS Addai, Joseph RB IND Owens, Terrell WR BUF Ward, Hines WR PIT Coles, Laveranues WR CIN Cooley, Chris TE WAS Roethlisberger, Ben QB PIT Cardinals DST Ginn Jr., Ted WR MIA Mason, Derrick WR BAL Taylor, Chester RB MIN Gould, Robbie K CHI
MJD...and then right after the draft I see he gets his leg banged up and is getting an MRI...wtf....fml
today i was bored and just joined a random espn league about to draft. ended up with the 3rd pick. brady and turner went 1 and 2 so i somehow got peterson at 3. i think my team is pretty great, though since i generally only in 12 team leagues(this is a 10 team league) i always think pretty much any team i get in a 10 team league is good. qb - mcnabb rb - peterson rb - portis rb/wr - barber wr - colston wr - ochocinco te - dallas clark d/st - eagles k - gould bench(kinda just lined up guys i like on autodraft and left) rb - felix jones rb - chester taylor rb - jamaal charles wr - devin hester qb - kyle orton wr - bobby engram rb - julius jones i like this team a lot. my starters are all good, i've got the backups who see a lot of time anyway to who i consider my two top rbs, have a team's #1 wr on the bench, and have jamaal charles who i think if he gets a shot(and with larry johnson ahead of him it's definitely possible that he gets a shot at some point for various reasons) he'll break out in a huge way.
my team in a 10 team league (same basic rules other than .5 points per reception): QB: Philip Rivers RB: Adrian Peterson RB: Frank Gore RB/WR: Lance Moore WR: Roy Williams WR: Chad Ochocinco TE: Chris Cooley D/ST: Eagles Kicker: Ryan Longwell BENCH: QB: McNabb WR: Walter RB: Graham RB: Taylor WR: Lavernaues Coles (autopicked) WR: Michael Crabtree (autopicked) WR: Bobby Engram (autopicked)
All I know is that DeAngelo Williams had a monster second half to his season, the guy was the best fantasy football player his last nine games. 120+ yards average and 16 TDs during that stretch; I like his fresh mileage and potential. I wouldn't have a problem taking him in the top two-three.
I won this week, but only because my opponent was inept QB - K. Warner RB - A. Peterson RB - S. Slayton WR - T. Owens WR - M. Colston TE - V. Shiancoe K - D. Akers D - Dolphins Bench QB - B. Roethlisberger QB - J. Campbell RB - W. Parker WR - A. Gonzalez WR - T. Holt TE - C. Cooley D - Bears
My first round pick Brees won the week for me, and I was mocked during our draft for taking the first QB of the draft with the 8th pick. 1-0 after a subpar RB week for everybody outside of All Day Peterson (i.e. #1 pick in every draft).
Don't you know not to set your lineup without first checking with me. And no I won't help you with gramps game . . . I think I could help you and still beat you, but then you would blame your whoop ass on me. See you at the prediction game.
