Link. More reason to boo Hedo. I love that Turkey has a player called "Onan." Omer Asik continues to impress. Claver's glued to the bench.
Spain isn't looking good. They haven't looked good all tourney. I think they've got a new coach and he just isn't doing a good job. Their defense is bad and their offense is out of sync. Too much reliance on Navarro, and Rubio is underutilized. On the plus side, Hedo's been pretty invisible too. But ever loose ball is going to the Turks. And Milwaukee has a player in Ilyasova.
Turkey wins, deservedly. They were much more of a team and played with real grit. Their PG was a scrappy little guy! I really don't think Turkoglu contributed much at all, but he also didn't disrupt the team play. Spain looked out of sorts. True, they were getting absolutely hammered all the time (anyone who says that Europe is softer than the NBA hasn't been watching these games!) but they never looked in control.
Shouldn't you be off watching JR Rider play somewhere? Actually Cameroon or Thailand is about his level.
