Buffalo's starting RB was suspended, so I'd definitely say they could improve their run D from Monday.
Trent Edwards had 25 yards off of broken play scrambles. I wouldn't count that against the run defense. So the real totals would be 65 and 3.8/carry.
That's certainly valid. Don't think that game is much of a measuring stick for the run defense though as the Bills have a really young OL in their first game together and were using a second string RB. The Jets game oughta be interesting.
Fred Jackson may be a backup, but he did run for 136 yards against the Pats last year with Richard Seymour on the defensive line.
