He's become a dictator in his own country, signed deals with Russia pretty much giving them access to whatever they want to in his country plus like you said he's tight with Ahmedinejad. To make it all worse, he worships Castro.
chavez is my favourite quasi dictator. i encourage anyone to watch his interview with larry king- larry broke down into hysterical laughter throughout the interview. as for chavez- he's certainly a polarizing figure in the world and within his own country but he does enjoy popular support and honestly the only ppl who oppose him are the plutocrats
