Coming from a guy who has literally attacked fans in the stands (the wrong fan, for the record), I have a hard time seeing how this is response does anything for Artest's image.
I think it further cements Artest's image. Some players are able to change their image over time (Kobe) other players either don't want to or aren't capable of changing their image . . . I think Artest is unable to control himself and unable to change his image.
