Of course he didn't have the best interest of the team in mind. Do you think he was trying to help the team by going out of his way to say that he didn't help recruit free agents? Yes. That's why I said, "I don't blame him." Reading the whole post and assuming someone is being honest are two good ways to get to the actual intent of a post. Ed O.
You said you think Roy is being selfish, and that it scares you. Expand on how Roy being "selfish" is going to "scare" you.
1) Hells yes! He's definitely got the moves and quickness now! I'm so f'ing excited to see him in action finally! 2) Indeed, great news! Of course going off on Channing sounds like the title of a porn video, but yeah! Good on LMA!
You're right about the level of opposition, but he has to do it against inferior opponents... MOST of the NBA is inferior to him in terms of physical gifts. I hope that he keeps rolling and gets off to a good start in the regular season. And he's not 22 until January. So awesome. Ed O.
According to Kevin Pritchard, yes. Is it your position that Brandon Roy thought he was HELPING the team by (a) not providing any assistance in recruiting players, and (b) then making a point in the media that, due to his lack of an extension, he wouldn't help recruit players? I suppose that Roy could know more of what's good for the team than KP, so in order to help the team he did those things. But it seems unlikely that he had the team's best interests at heart. Again: that's fine. He's a grown man, and he should be looking out for himself first. Ed O.

Although, in the long term, looking out for the team is looking out for himself. But he's not that grown a man, perhaps. barfo
Well, it's probably false. Just Jason Quick trying to stir up shit so he can have something to talk about once Aldridge doesn't get his deal.
There's really no reason to worry about Roy as he is just adjusting to Miller and finding his rhythm after an off-season of just focusing on conditioning. I'd much rather see Roy struggle in preseason rather than go through September knee surgery and worry about that like last year.
What about according to you? Plus, Roy wasn't asked to recruit Hedo, but ignore this fact. Colangelo, as I've posted before, called Bosh and asked him to help recruit Hedo.
Andre Miller just got done playing with a pretty similar player to Roy in Iguodala. I don't think it's Miller that is having the problem adjusting, although I can't say for sure since I haven't seen a single game, but still. Miller has been around the block and knows what he's doing. Roy is the one still learning all the nuances being that he's only going into his 4th season. In the end the team will be better for having these two in the backcourt.
I'm concerned because he's "selfish" and didn't help "recruit free agents". If you don't fawn over Miller, you'll be a "troll" as well. Oden looks AWESOME, by the way. Perhaps Miller was not needed?
Oden looked great once again - too bad we went away from him in the second half. We have to keep pounding teams inside now that we have such a huge weapon on the offensive end! Outlaw and Roy, however, both looked pretty off.
