I was speaking more about Blake's likely trade value around the league not his actual value to this team.

In any case I think holding on to both he and Outlaw past the trade deadline is a huge mistake ... unless the whole goal is to recoup their 7.6 million in salaries and put it back as a cost savings for the team's net salaries -- with those two off the books and Darius finally rid of that's 16 million to help cover Brandon and LaMarcus' big extentions (assuming the deal for LMA really is imminent).

    *fixed*

Yea I agree, that would be a mistake. KP isn't known for in season trades though so I don't know what the hell is going to happen. On another note, that ally oop from Miller to Bayless was so sick. JB looked pretty good in that video.

2nd round pick, Chris Richards, cut by Minnesota, now playing for the Bulls.

    Last game:

    5-9 FG, 7-9 FT, 13 reb, 17 points, 2 blocks

I bet he doesn't make the team.

I've been saying it since we got Dre, TRADE BLAKE!
And everyone knows I've been on the Trade Rudy wagon since January.
He will NEVER ever be happy in Portland as a full time backup, 6th man or not. Roy is not a full time point, too small to play the 3 and the same can be said for Rudy. Rudy just comes across as a whiner and someone who wants to be the main guy.
It also makes no sense to have both Blake and Miller. Both guys would be better with 30 mins a night compared to splitting time at about 24 a piece. Hoops is a game of rhythm and these guys won't get that if they are constantly.
Marty can play the wing just fine, and we need to start developing Bayless so he is ready once Miller's game starts to decline.
I feel Bayless will be happy with 13-18 mins a night and be a great energy spark.
Ideally we would be able to deal Rudy and Blake for a player like Battier and a future pick, or work out a 3 way since Houston has no need for Blake.
Never the less, this team needs a consolidation trade in the worst way, not only for playing time to be cleared up, but great teams have a set 8 man rotation that allows for chemistry to be strong and players to get into the rhythm of the game.
I don't think we will implode over playing time like the 2001 team did, but it does have letdown written all over it.
