The frustrating thing about this unit is they don't try and get Oden involved.

Well, the starting line-up is set at this point, as I hoped it would be with Oden over Przy and no other changes.

    Commence the Nate bashing.

It's hard to care about a game that means absolutely nothing. But I am glad that they are developing confidence.

Oden has 7 shots and 6 FTs in 20 minutes. Huh?

2 of 7 from the field. Let him rebound (get his own) and play defense.

Playing with Rudy and Outlaw takes away from alley-oops.

That's fantastic. That's exactly what we want out of him.

I love Oden and think he's gonna be a monster... but I don't care about which player is not involved if the team plays well.

Oden, in particular, I'm less than concerned by. He can create shots on the offensive glass. He can alter shots defensively. He can do so many things without having plays called for him.

He's young and he's got plenty of time to emerge as an offensive force... if the team wins I'm more than pleased to let him be a badass roleplayer rather than a prominent player at this point.

Agreed. He's been beasting when he gets consistent touches, but tonight he's had to create most of his own looks by hitting the offensive boards. When your C is protecting the paint and on D like Oden has tonight you MUST feed him on offense.

Roy and LMA are better options. All we need is for Oden to rebound and play defense.

Because relying on offensive rebounding is better than trying to get a better look by scoring in the paint.

    Kingspeed,

As much as I like Blake, it's obvious that Miller is the better PG even with Blakes great preseason night. Take a poll from every team in the league and I would be shocked if 1 GM would take Blake over Miller. Miller just needs court time with the big 3 and he'll make us a better team. I'm all for loyalty but by playoff time the starting lineup needs to be Miller, Roy, Batum, LMA and Oden.
