He's a basketball talent, if we were able to get him for Outlaw/Bayless (insert other filler here) would you take that risk? Getting him out of South Beach is exactly what he needs to get his shit together, IMO.
A move that works under the cap: To Miami: Travis Outlaw Jerryd Bayless 1st round Pick To Portland: Michael Beasley Mario Chalmers We take a chance on a very talented SF/PF in Beasley who can, if he can to get act together, be a better version of Jamison. If he continues down this path we don't resign him and let him go. He's due for an extension soon, right? Chalmers is a defensive minded PG who is already a decent defender. This is the epitome of a high-risk/high-reward move.
This was really unfortunate these pictures got out. Beasley was on a team sponsored event, he doesn't drink, and probably passed out cause of boredom. All reports and people around the incident say he didn't drink anything. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4590828 http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=txheatbeasley&prov=st&type=lgns
So let me get this straight, team employees claim he wasn't drinking to the media............... well then it must be true right?
The placement of the bottles, though... awfully inconvenient if you're sitting snuggling up some cute coed to place your beers in a line on the far end of the table. Maybe there's some truth to the fact that it wasn't his binge.
