Not if you use a fully-automatic weapon.

You should start shooting low and to the left, by the time you are done, you will be high to the right, but a fair number of bullets should impact in crucial areas.:biglaugh:

I don't see anything in that story that makes me think the homeowner will get in trouble. Some scumbag's family might sue claiming their son had a chemical imbalance or was a good kid but just went with the wrong crowd or some other nonsense. Blah blah blah dead, good.

I just hope I don't come "home" drunk to your place by accident!

I was thinking about that when I wrote what I did, then I thought about it and figured that it isn't any different than drinking and driving. If you are going to get that wasted and lose control of yourself you have to accept what happens to you if you do.

What if you live in an apartment complex, and all the places look the same? I know a guy who did that in a dorm, luckily he was just in trouble with the staff, not shot. I also know about a friend of a friend that woke up in a drunk tank, only to find out he broke into someone's house, made nachos, and got naked. turns out there was a sheriff across the street.

I live in Arizona, I think here intent is not needed. The running joke here is if you shoot them as they run out the door just make sure they don't leave your property and everything is ok.

I went to high school with a kid who got drunk and jumped off of the bridge over Paradise Point between Woodland Washington and Vancouver. He died. Shit happens when you get drunk.

If you are so drunk you go into the wrong house you might think that the real homeowner broke into your house and want to fight him. Sorry, if the guy has a gun and shoots you it is your problem.

I agree. Our home is a sacred place to each of us, and if someone chooses to invade that, then they should know that they could die.

I would replace could with should. I would rather someone who is down and out robbed a liquor store than break into someone's home. If the owner is on vacation it would be bad enough but to break in when the people are home just shows that the scumbag has no care for humanity.

I would teach it to kindergarten kids if it were up to me. Brainwash them or whatever you want to call it, just so every person knows that if you invade someone's home you deserve to die.

When it comes to situations like this I figure you're better off killing the other guy than just wounding them. A dead guy can't stand up in court and tell a pack of lies about what went down.

I live in a pretty safe neighborhood, so I'm not much worried about home intrusion. But if I ever become so I figure I'll get me one of them double barrel shotguns. You don't need to have a whole lot of accuracy and there's lots of stopping power.

How many people actually get killed in home invasions, if you subtract out the drug dealers and the relatives and ex-spouses and so on? I'd guess it is not very many.

So you don't think it's ok to put a bullet in some assholes brain that is trying to steal from you? Or do you think it's not ok for people to do that?

Because my opinion is that only a truly insane and awful person wouldn't want to protect his family.
