this is why CP3 is going to be traded for young talent (taking a hit though) + expiring contracts. they won't get BETTER without major moves, but can't afford CP3's extension....
if they aren't planning to afford CP's extension in 2012 why did they trade for okafor? makes no sense.
The Hornets are already in the red. If they lose CP3 that franchise will be dead. Speaking of, I don't know why the fuck the owner insists on keeping that team in New Orleans! The metro population barely reaches 1 million. It's as small as OKC. Combine that with the Saints, one of these teams should move, if not both.
speaking of rebuilding, the jazz are not that far away from having williams/millsap and not much else
shocking that the rockets beat the jazz in utah. shocking. with that lineup.... its really hard to believe. i guess we are lucky to have beat them once. and to think we had a 20 point lead.
Oh I agree, the Nets are taking it this year . . . hope they go see Dr. jelly fingers to loosen them up before they take "it."
no, they are planning to try to keep paul beyond 2011/12 and probably overrated okafor as a complimentary player that would make him want to stay. possibly a fatal mistake for the franchise.
nope! gonna run out of money by then! If it wasn't Okafor, it was going to be for Chris Wilcox. They are in cost cutting mode and they're not going to have enough to keep the team around.
So the Blazers have lost to the Nuggets (3-0; should have won that) and to the Rockets (3-1). The Blazers handed the Rockets their only loss of the year and beat an undefeated Thunder team on the road on the second half of a back to back. Their two wins have come against undefeated teams. I know it is early and stuff, but the Blazers have been beat up for being 2-2 and playing three "non-playoff" teams. Blazers have not been firing on all cylinders and the basketball hasn't been pretty, but the 2-2 looks respectable given their early season problems and just imagine if/when this team starts clicking. They are going to be nasty . . .
okafor has 5 years at 60+ mil left. there's obviously long-term plans to keep paul involved if they take on that contract.
