If you don't wanna share, don't.

This is partly for an assignment in my Philosophy of Religion class. Collecting a bunch of data.

If you are something not on here.. feel free to express your specific beliefs.

Religion is so ridiculous. I'm sure there are some devout Christians here but it's my opinion.

If the bible proves there is a god, Marvel Comics proves the existence of Superman. It's the same thing when you really think about it.

All the fairy tales in the bible are taken literally by millions of people. But, the fastest growing demographic group in the world is Atheists. People are waking up and/or have higher standards for proof.

I wasn't meaning for this to become this kind of thread, but I guess I should have known it was gonna happen.

BTW, I agree with everything you said.

I expect there is some correlation between lack of religion and staying up late, so I expect the results to change when the early birds get up tomorrow.

I'm the fuckign curve breaker. Of course, I'm kind of a slacker Catholic....just kind of doing the motions. The history of the church is fantastic though...the cathedrals of the world are fantastic!

But as a follower of Christ, I suppose you can say i'm a Christian. But that religion has become something I don't want a part of. So I'll stick to a relationship with God without trying to fit in to a religion.

I've always had a hard time understanding Confusionism...

to answer the poll, I'm atheist, though I don't really like to identify myself as one. Sometimes atheists take it so far that they become just as annoying/dangerous as any other religion.

    Agnostic.

I can't say with 100% certainty there is no higher power/being, but I don't see any real evidence there is one.

However, the Bible has something nothing else has. The 100% (so far) proof of prophecy. That was something, when I was a devout atheist, that I could not ignore.

it matters what people believe because it's impossible to keep fundamentalism out of politics.
