Wait, when's the trade deadline...mid Feb? I think they'll be careful. After Martell & Blake's injuries have been impacted by coming back quickly, I think they'll err on the side of caution even if Nic is feeling good. mid-March at the earliest...

It's a five month recovery from a torn labrum surgery if you are being somewhat conservative. Best case is probably March, but I wouldn't bet on it.

The initial prognosis was 3 to 5 months.

What to read into that is "3 months if Webster blows chunks, 5 months if he plays well."

under. Batum will be afraid the team will leave him behind.

Over. I saw somewhere on twitter that Batum said 3 months til he starts drills and 5 months til he returns.

Over. I'd rather he doesn't have any lapses in recovery. Similar to what Martell had last year. I hope these docs got this right.

I'd think that they always try to err on the side of caution... about the only thing that might warrant rushing any player back would be a situation deep into a playoff run. I doubt Martell was rushed back, he just suffered another break when a weak spot had been established... all but a few types of injuries carry an increased risk of reoccurrence.

My opinion didn't really fit with the poll choices. I went with Don't Care because it seemed the closest to Have No Idea. I'm not ashamed to admit that I don't know much about the recovery from his type of surgery or his personal medical status. As best I can tell the team's guesses on recovery time of it's players from various injuries have been in the ballpark, so it seems sort of silly to think that they're going to start playing their cards differently.

He'll get here when he's ready, but hopefully thats sooner then later. The club has been getting lit up by wing players this year... thankfully Minnesota doesn't have any

I didn't vote. How about an option of "exactly equal to" the trade deadline? Because that's the day a vacancy in the rotation will open, if Pritchard can engineer a trade.

What is the renewal date for season ticket holders? I thought all medical decisions were based on that date.
