Not true at all. If Portland droped 3 out of 5 games the fan base would freak out regardless of when it happened.

Since when were those quality teams in our opening schedule? Two games against a severely outmatched Houston team (despite what the record says), Denver at home on the 2nd night of a delayed back to back, and Atlanta at home ... the only real quality game in our first 6 was the San Antonio win and they barely showed up to play.
I agree, except I stopped using the words "quality" and "Spurs" together in the same sentence a year ago. When we finally DO play quality teams, we better play a lot better than we have so far.
If by "riot in the streets" you mean, "buy starbucks, wear birkenstrocks, eat granola, and drive a Prius" you would be absolutely right.
