Apparently Chiefs fans were petitioning to prevent him from being on the team long enough to take the record away from Priest. Guess they can all breathe a sigh of relief. I'm sure the dude's far more talented than he's shown to be in Kansas City the past couple years. I don't think it'll be as easy for a team to make sure his head is on straight though.
Yeah, I could too. That is the first thing I thought when I saw he was released...Patriots. They could be really damn scary with him in that offense.
now the chiefs need to actually give the ball to jamaal charles 20+ times a game and they'll have a chance at actually winning a couple of games the rest of the year.
The Chiefs will probably go RB committee with Smith and Charles. I doubt much will change in production since their offensive line is weak.
jamaal charles is fast. and he's a good running back. if the chiefs ever just let him actually carry the load, he'd produce. we'll see if they're willing to do that or not. but he sure has produced at a pretty good rate in limited carries thus far.
I don't think he's that bad. 1) I don't think he's trying 2) I think KC's o-line is the worst in the NFL
