Oden licks his hands constantly. To keep the ball from slipping I bet. Looks like it's working. No doubt about it. If Oden stays healthy the sky is the limit. He controlled the paint. Domination. It's all about Oden baby! Keep licking them hands!
I agree, it's not sanitary. But Steve Nash does the same type of thing for better grip. And if it's good enough for a two-time MVP, it's good enough for Oden. I've noticed the past several games, Greg has better control of the ball. The past few games, I can't recall him being stripped by an opponent, or the ball just slipping out of his hand like last year and earlier this season. Whatever he's doing to take care of the ball, it's working. Hope he keeps it up and continues dominating and improving each game.
Ooooh nice... Oden's PER jumped about 3 points yesterday! Joel & Greg now 1 & 3 in rebounding. Greg just need to continue keeping his PF and TO's down and playing under control.
Oden will not catch the flu, for the flu virus knows who he is, and trembles. Further, Oden saliva is lethal to all microbes. Oden does not sweat. The ambient temperature automatically adjusts to Oden's body temperature Oden has spoken to the league's basketballs (telepathically, of course) informing them that they need to stay within his grasp once they reach that utopian location. They know what's good for them, and they listen.
Oden looked like the beast his is last night. I'm man enough to admit that Nate has a better grip on the team, along with a better sense of direction then I gave him credit for. I've seen my two biggest complaints remedied as the ball now goes inside and off to the races when we have numbers. That said where are all the Oden haters? You guys ready to man up and admit Greg is a beast after these past 3 games? Hank I'm talking about you!
Greg has been a beast, but to be fair, Memphis and Minnesota are probably the two worst teams in the league
He's looking good. My prediction with TB (TowelBoy) may hold true. I said 14 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks a game. Soon as he can stay on the floor for longer than 20 minutes a game, it doesn't look like it's that far off.
