The Rockets waived him. Why can't he find a home? He reminds me of other "energy" players like Jerome Williams (the "Junkyard Dog") or Renaldo Balkman who are instant fan faves, but after initially getting minutes pretty quickly rack up DNP-CDs. Is it that they just can't memorize plays, or that they're just athletes with no skills? Dunno. He's fun to watch, though. I liked him a lot with the Raptors. But his limited offensive game really comes to the forefront if he's not making an impact with his hustle and energy. In Toronto, he didn't consistently bring that. He'd play a couple great games and then be insignificant for two after that.
I like that move. We need another big man something awful. We're exposed when LMA is out. Outlaw is destroyed by alot of PF's and our rebounding really suffers. If he can defend and rebound with energy then great if not the search continues for a decent backup garbage man at the PF.
I would take him back in a second. The energy him, Amir and Reggie bring would be awesome. Obviously unless Reggie or Amir are hurt (excluding the time now since Reggie is), he'd be in a suit. I'd def play him over POB though.
Or maybe Marks can go quietly to a life of sheep herding in the New Zealand highlands where he belongs?
Marks comes from a family of sea urchin prestige. They hunt and sell them. Pretty wealthy family actually. How I know this? I don't know.
You guys don't realize how much it would ruin chemistry to waive Mills. He's one of our most important players.
I don't agree he's one of our most important players, but he's our backup PG and I was kidding that we should waive him for a guy no other team seems to want. Ed O.
