Possibly, but not for the purposes of this discussion.

LoL. I was pissed for like 30 seconds, not because they lost, but the way they lost the game. Having a good lead in the 4th, Watching Blake flame out, and then the last crappy foul on Oden to boot. In the end Joe johnson is the reason the Hawks won, and the fact that the Hawks tried at times to take the ball out of Roy's hands and we didn't do the same to Joe Johnson. It wasn't mistakes by Blake, it was amazing play by Joe Johnson and bad defense to take the ball away from Joe Johnson. It was the offensive rebounds we gave up in the 4th and OT. Hopefully the team improves and in the Spring we are holding onto leads and winning games on the road not letting a win slip away.

Do you think this will come back when they get home? The whole idea that you run at home...etc?

I don't have a problem with calling a player a "***GOT" per se. I just don't like that BLAKE gets called that for a bad game and Oden gets a free pass no matter what he does. Blake had 8 pts, 11 assts, and 2 turnovers. He was the guy who got us going in the first half. He had a terrible terrible 4th quarter and it cost us the game. But if you're gonna call him names, then you have to call Oden names when he plays badly.

i love how everyone blames just blake. we need another consistent scorer at SF. wait till we play some good small forwards.... then the crying will really begin.

did anyone notice how we couldnt score for 6 minutes when teh hawks were gift wrapping the game?

Losing Outlaw is a big problem. He won the game for us in Atlanta two seasons ago.

Maybe, and I certainly hope so. Although with Nate's history I'm more inclined to believe it wont, but I guess hope never hurt anyone; however, my personality requires me to be inclined to expect the worst at all times.

I guess we'll see Wednesday, but it could be a let down game because it's one home game then we go out on the road again so it could be like another road game. Like last year's game against the Clippers.

Roy bailed out Oden tonight. He rebounded Oden's miss and scored. And he ended up outrebounding Oden for the game. I thought Oden was supposed to bring us rebounding and defense. Play him more, you cry. Well he played 34 minutes and grabbed 7 rebounds.

My take is that you can't win them all, and you really found out how much you miss Outlaw and his being a 3pt threat (whether he's hot or not).

If you take all your 3pt shooters off the floor, the defense will collapse to the lane as much as possible.

That's dumb logic. If someone wants to call Blake a name, doesn't mean they have to call someone else a name.

That's beside the point. Blake cost us the game today, Oden not so much.

I think you made your point Kingspeed. Great road trip and tough loss to end it. Still 4-1 on that road trip is nothing to sneeze at. So get back to talking good basketball and stop harping on just Oden.

Yea im not really a fan of this 3 guard line up, I would like to see this line up: Miller, Roy, Rudy, Aldridge, Oden. with Blake, Przybilla, Webster, Bayless, Howard/Dante off the bench in that order. but thats just me. I remember how people were saying that our length was a huge factor and now with Batum and Outlaw out it hurts a lot.. but Rudy played very well tonight and I hope people can step up. Martell looks like he is thinking to much again, still rooting for him though. Cant wait till Wednesday, should be a good game.

So do you want the team to trade him, cut him or sit him?

Some games you put up bigger stats that other nights. Oden often matches tonight's stats in less minutes. The thing is, stat-wise, Blake had a good game. Stats aren't everything. Watch the last quarter and OT, and dude killed us. That's why people are pissed. Get off his jock.

Blake handled the ball most of the game and only turned it over twice. Oden turned it over 4 times.

And what about the Denver game? We would've won if Oden hit the two free throws but NO ONE called Oden a name. NO ONE. If that had been Outlaw or Blake, you guys would have been livid and called him a name.

we lost this game (and will lose more) because we cant score easily. you cant have 6 minute scoring droughts vs good teams and win.

this is exactly the difference between playing the twolves and playing the hawks

Blake had a terrible 4th & OT, no doubt. But how come everyone hates him after a bad stretch of basketball but no one hates Oden in other games where he plays badly?

Speed... ODEN SUCKED. They will never admit it.

He was a BIG reason we lost the game. Blake was as well but ODEN was owned on the boards and is so awkward on offense at times.... its laughable. i will get blasted by the Oden lovers but its the sad truth.

GREG ODEN SUCKED TONIGHT. BE FAIR.
