Trade anyone right now. This team is starting to piss me off. Trade everyone but Randolph and Morrow. Everyone on this team seems to have a problem with shit. Maybe it's because our coach is half idiot-half dinosaur. He's been coaching for what, 30 years? How many times has he won a championship? How many times has he been in the damn finals? The owner and general manager are rarely seen and don't know anything about basketball. Most of the team is either injured, having problems on and off the court, and just don't give a crap. Something needs to be done. Next two games in Cleveland and Boston. We'll lose by 60+ combined in those two games. The Warriors are by far the most messed up team in the NBA right now.
You're not saying trade Curry too? No way. As for everything else? I'd like to keep Biedris, Randolph and Wright.
The question is, how much of this mess gets magically and immediately fixed by sending Don Nelson packing? No, it won't solve all the Warriors problems, but I think it would be a huge change with immediate benefits. There's no way this guy should be allowed to haunt this place, dismantling the franchise day by day, while he waits for his damned record. I don't care if he's owed $12M, he is actively destructive and needs to go right now. Every day he's here is another dose of poison for the players we do have left. Don't tell me Ellis, Curry, and Randolph wouldn't feel a great weight being lifted.
it's a morale boost for the players as much as anything...i don't think any of the players are in his corner anymore, and it's kinda one of those situations where if you're not with him, you're against him. it's like having a boss that you can't stand, having to spend every day with them just creates a negative energy, and puts you in a bad mood automatically. hopefully nelson leaving would at least keep players like monta (and everybody for that matter) from wanting to get the hell out of here. that's not to mention the inevitable improvement in rotations that we would see with any other coach.
Unfortunately it all starts at the top, and I think just about every Warriors fan has been asking / praying / sacrificing animals to get Cohan to sell for a while now. Cut him, which cuts off Rowell and possibly most of the front office, and start it all fresh.
