I posted this earlier but if the blazers dont make a change soon .... Roys getting hurt. He cant be asked to guard SFs that are twice his size. He is a SG and thats the end of it. With that said, the plan was to get roy more rest and keep him fresh for the playoffs (if we make them)but now hes being asked to bulk up to guard bigger guys. not only does it make it easier for for him to get hurt but it also takes away his best skills. With the way things have gone with injuries.. the blazers are really out of their minds doing this with roy. Like dwight Jaynes said on his site... " 1 more injury and the Blazers are in trouble.' This could be a great season but its starting to border on disaster with injuries and dumb lineups. KP needs to let his little draft picks go, and make a move for a legit starting SF. Hes got tons of moveable guys and in todays NBA.. you can get quality for crap. Every good gm does. as long as the other team is getting financial relief... its not too hard.

look it.... this season has not gone well. just cause we beat cupcake teams means nothing. our lineup as is sucks and we are gonna get our best player hurt. good ole kp needs to get some fucking balls and fix this lineup. maybe a loss to the pistons and warriors will open a few eyes? i know the homers dont wanna hear the truth.

13' and 400 pound SF? Damn, Roy WILL get hurt. Isn't the problem at SF mostly because your boy Martell is playing well?

I'm sure that KP has tons of offers to trade crap for all stars, but he just doesn't give shit, because he didn't draft the all stars.

We're ranked #3 in Sagarin ratings. We just had a great road trip. Couldn't you stop bitching and crying for a day or two and try to enjoy the season?

    Go Blazers

Maybe KP deep down wanted to be a pastry chef and not an NBA gm?

No one would disagree that with the injuries we have we can continue to play Roy at SF. We might also expand Webster’s minutes there or even try Dante and use a zone more. That’s option #1 to our SF issue.

Option #2 is to make a trade. The problem with that is what kind of a salary we have to take on. We’re going to re sign Oden this summer to about $10,000,000+ per season and with Roy & LA, we’re carrying too much salary add a top paid player.

Option #3 is to cut someone and sign a free agent. I doubt KP will do this as he seems pretty high on our 12-15 players.

For me, I’d play Webster more and Dante.

I have no doubt in my mind we make the playoffs, with just our talent alone. The seeding has more to do with how we utilize our talent.

And to be perfectly honest, we don't have too many tradable contracts anyways. Especially for a player he is hoping to get.
