The guy is shooting .480%, .467% from 3 and has an A/TO ration better than 2-1. And he plays 2 mins against the Knicks? Ridiculous.
I thought it was okay that Stephen Curry (next Steve Nash) didn't play at MSG because then the Knicks would have wanted to trade someone who Don Nelson craves such as Danilo Gallinari for him. I'm sure Nelson would deal Anthony Randolph for Gallinari. We could've had Channing Frye, so it's hard to believe Riley passed up the chance to get him. Of course, no one knew he would be such a good three point shooter!
Why play him when you can nurture him on the bench and let his hate and anger harbor deep within his cerebrum and heart so that he can later rebel, ask for a trade, AND accommodate him by trading him away to another team that clearly needs him marginally more than you do, but can send you a deal that only benefits them, so that you can lull in mediocrity during the decade long rebuilding process that you so desperately enjoy? Huzzah!
