I don't. That team is toast. They're going to be in full re-build mode next season.

By March they'll be eliminated from the playoffs.

Spurs are a threat (especially to us) until someone knocks them out.
    Same with HOU.
    Same with DAL.

Smart teams with a modicum of talent and/or tenacity seem to give us fits. SAS, HOU and DAL all qualify when healthy.

I think he could just fine. In fact, I think they would dominate. Just like a while back Roy said he wasn't sure he could co-exist with Chris Paul. But when they were teamed up in Roys first all star game, that combo brought the West back by their back court domination alone. It didn't look like it was working poorly to me, and Roy was getting plenty of buckets.

Tony Parker is just as bad at shooting the 3 as Miller, (ok maybe not as bad :))

But the problem is our offense, and even if we got CP3 or TP we would have to change how we run our offense... Nate Problem

It's all about health with the Spurs, but they have been a notoriously slow starter for a long time, I wouldn't count them out just yet.

I know. I wonder why that is........especially given the fact that they have one of the best/top coaches in the league??

You honestly believe Chris Paul would listen to Nate for one second? I think a player like CP3 that wouldn't even look over at Nate for a play is exactly what we need here.

Probably because Pops would rather they conserved their energy for a playoff push in the stretch run, and he likes to get his youngsters some run while the season is early so they are better able to contribute (or at least he knows what he has with them) should the need arise due to injury.

Nate would be lambasted/canned for pulling that kind of crap. ;)

Probably, but his most important players are all pretty young, so there's less reason to conserve their energy for late in the year ... though it would be interesting to see guys like Dante and Bayless get a little more run, chances are we're going to need them to contribute sooner rather than later.

    Anyhoo ...

I believe the Spurs will make the playoffs, but will be 1 and done, just like last year.

So why does a player like Miller listen to Nate?

Because he is not as good as Chris Paul.

To answer the question of the subject post, yes the Spurs are a huge threat.

To answer ABM's question, Pops tinkers with his lineup until January. If it means losing some games early in the season, so be it. They don't really seem to care much about home court advantage.
