    I know it's a little early - but I only create the game thread when I'm going to the game . . . so here it is! Leaving work now to head up to Oakland to pre-funk.

    BTW, it's overcast and misty here in the Bay Area (which is rare) so if that's not a great omen for a team from the Pacific NW, I don't know what is! First we bring the rain . . . then we'll bring the pain!!!

    The losing streak in Oakland ENDS TONIGHT!!!

    Don't worry - I'll grab one of the GSW jerseys from a W's fan around me and suit up and their 5 spot. At 5'8", I'll likely be their tallest player.

    Yea Nellie would probably give you a run at center! You might die trying to guard Greg or Joel though. You might want to consider that. :devilwink:

    I fully realize this - and plan on playing Sergio'esque matador defense on anyone in black & red driving into the paint. Greg, Joel, LMA and even Andre (if he can) can dunk on me at will!

    Anyways, the first game at Oracle I went to last year GO had a great game (22pts/10reb/2blks) and the GSW fans around me were shaking their heads wondering how anyone could stop him.

    The second game here last year was the referee debacle that led to that really frustrating loss. Hopefully this game will be more like the first and less like the second - but result in a W either way.

    Alright, I'm out the door. All subsequent posts will be on the iPhone from Oracle . . . let's see if I get more or less popcorn tossed onto my head compared to last year.

    Just saw my man Jim Grey in the media room. There is some big fight here tomorrow night he is working. I got a chance to get to know him with the Golf Channel. He said he is looking forward to watching us play. WHo knows, maybe he'll interview BRoy on the way out.
