    Dear Nate,

Grow a fucking pair and defend your team when the refs have a cheap hard-on for the other team. We've seen this all the time since you've been coach. No ref respects you. Stick up for your goddamn team when they're getting raped or when they get fouled and yet they're still called for the foul. Its bullshit and I've never seen so much cheap bullshit go against Portland since we've had Nate McCharmin as coach. Grow a sack and defend your team, even if you lose 10k.

I wonder how many other coaches have the 2 foul rule for their star players?

is it just me or does benching oden and LA with 2 fouls for the whole first half hurt them in the long run? i mean, how are they ever supposed to learn to play with foul trouble, if they're never allowed to. This is going to screw them up down the road for sure.

No shit. Greg is tearing it up but then we have to watch him sit on the bench cause he has to fouls. I would rather see him foul out of every fucking game.

Yah, if Nate hadn't stopped playing defense, and had several turnovers right in a row, we'd be winning teh gamez!

Although wow, call a time out a little sooner, eh?

Don't hate Nate at all. I love the guy. But I'm growing tired of watching Nate teaching his guys to play the right way. It doesn't translate to the NBA. If you're polite in the NBA, you're getting shit on. Toughen these kids up, Nate. Stick up for 'em. They play their hearts out. They're not worth a 10-20k fine?

Tired of other coaches bitching so the refs adjust their games. Nate doesn't bitch so thpose adjustments don't ever help Portland.

I should clarify my point for the manic bitches on the board. My only complaint with Nate is that he doesn't stand up to the refs. Other coaches bitch and bitch and the refs adjust and soon as you know it, the other team has an advantage. I want Nate to stick up for this team.

    Let's see. A b
    Blazer fouled. No call

Golden State goes downcourt, hits a 3.

B-Roy comes back, drives, is raped by Ellis. Ball out on Roy. GS ball.

That goes back to Nate. Stic up for your team.

You guys blind? Rudy gets foulded on the clear-pa...he gets 2 shots. No clear path.

Roy gets a 3-point play opport.... Wait the foul was non-shooting and no goaltend.
    This is serious bullshit.

I guess this is on me for being out of line. Nobody else thinks the officiating is terrible. Nobody else thinks Nate needs to stand up for his team?

No one here is saying the refs arent terrible, but Nate getting a T isn't giong to help anything. The warriors get another point, the refs get more annoyed with the blazers, and the crowd gets more into it. Getting a t isn't going to do any help

A T would help. Show some courage... Some teeth... Some ball... Anything. Dunno how you think a T wouldn't help. Every other coach seems to bitch when playing Portland, so why do you think Nate standing up wouldn't help? I'm curious what you're reasoning is?

How do you know he isn't talking and yelling at the refs and just not gettin a t? just because he isn't getting a t doesn't mean he isnt doing nothing. and you didnt say at all how getting a t would help. you said it would show courage and ball and teeth and whatever.. but that will jsut lead to an extra point for the warriors, the warrior fans getting more into it, and the refs more likely to call against the blazers.

Seriously... You kidding me? One point? You're worried about one fucking point on a T when we're getting hammered on everything? Are you fucking nuts? Did you not see Oden get raped while trying to dunk? Fuck, mods, delete this now... No problem.

That's where you're wrong. Popovich is famous for getting well-timed T's - and more often than not the Spurs start getting the whistles after he does. Jackson does the same thing. There's a usefulness to technicals.
