GO has got to show some fire and complain. Nate also HAS to stick up for his players.
Nate and the organization need to stnad up for the kid. Someone needs to get fined and raise a stink big enough that they show it on ESPN. They need to start showing some of this BS
We must get one of the local media types to bring this up at practice or interviews. IT MUST BE DONE. Forum posters UNITE!
Some of the calls in that Bobcats game were BS. The way Oden was playing so well in the beginning game, it was almost like they were trying to find a way to get Greg out of the game.
Yes not so good is it? Shaq would have been able to hack their arms and still not get called for the foul. What does it take to get this monkey off his back? Reminds me of Sheed and his technicals. Many of his T's are based on his rep. (sigh)
More egregious calls on GO:
I don't really understand the Ellis call, in particular. Monta lost the ball and Oden touched it and then got a knee to his head. Why did Ellis have the right to be there more than Greg in spite of not having possession of the ball? Ed O.
yeah that was a crap call....it made me realize that if portland didnt have the blazers i wouldnt give a flip about the nba....soccer has so much more to offer and much more of it too. The NBA has become a joke the real refs are marginally better than the scrub refs....as if stern told the scrubs to be that bad to make the medicore refs look better but you cant spit shine a turd.
They were all called fouls. Is that what you are trying to say? Not one of those warranted a foul call, however.
I disagree. He keeps hipchecking players, which is the same thing he was doing last season. They obviously were fouls, since fouls were called. Whether they should have been called is another topic, but they are all fouls, even the Ellis play.
Umm... is anyone claiming that they weren't called fouls? Whether they should have been called fouls is the point of this thread. Ed O.
