Roy peaked? Will he progress any further since now he has a fat payday?

You already said this exact thing in another thread. Does this really need it's own topic?

If he has peaked and he's a top 5 player what would you like to do with him? Trade him for one of 4 players who are better? I'm confused by this post? So your not satisfied with Roy? Fans really need to take a step back to reality. We are a good team that is extremely young and going through growing pains without two key contributors. WE ARE 10-5!!!! Damn we are becoming spoiled fans........

    He's not a top-five player.

He's arguably a top-ten player based on last year's performance.

In your opinion he's not........ In my opinion there isn't more than 5 players I would trade him for.

I don't think Roy has peaked. I think the NBA has figured him out and he needs to adjust his game. He needs to add some things to his repertoire.

That seems like a different thing, whom you'd trade him for. ;) Emotional attachments aren't part of how good a player is. In terms of on-court value, I'd say it's hard to place Roy ahead of any of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant or Dwight Howard.

Disclaimer: I'm one who has never felt Roy is top-10 in the NBA. I put him more in the 12-15 range.

However, I don't think Roy is one to get complacent now that he's signed his big contract. He's too competitive for that. But I do believe it has massively gone to his head and he needs a coach to sit him down, straighten him out, and get him to shut the hell up when it comes to personnel decisions and the media. Nate appears to be too buddy buddy with him for that to happen.

He has adjusted his game this season to accomodate Miller. Has the NBA already figured out this adjustment? If so, is it time for Roy to go back to his old style of play.

How has he adjusted his play? All he's doing is scaling it back and playing worse... An adjustment would imply improving in other areas to accommodate Miller's addition, rather than simply being less effective across the board.

last year he took 66% jump shots. this year(through the 19th) he's taken 78% jump shots.

and i disagree that an adjustment would imply improvement.
