Yeah you would have to pull it off in one deal, which could include multiple teams. That way you solve both problems at once. Otherwise it would be far too risky to go down to 0 true small forwards. I for one am hoping that Martell just needs to start to play well.

Why would you move him so fast? Wait till at least January is over.

    Thank you!

Andre Miller is a very good point guard who is less than 1/4 of his way into a new system, on a new team with extremely high expectations, in a very different conference.

I would rather Miller start, frankly, and adjust to playing off the ball a little more. Miller has to realize that his best chance at a championship before the end of his career may well be in Portland in a few years. That could mean playing off the bench, or adjusting to a different kind of point guard role than what he's used to. But Miller is a hard-working player, one of the smartest guys in the league, and as every player who I've heard interviewed is apparently a "consummate pro." Makes me think he can probably learn to play with Brandon Roy, if that's what's expected of him.

Give the guy some time to adjust. If that comes off the bench, then fine. But give an All-Star like Miller a little benefit of the doubt that he can adjust.

When has Miller been an all-star?

I'd certainly be in no hurry to move him, but the way Nate is using him (by not using him mainly) pretty much has shown me exactly what I feared when they signed him; he's not going to be allowed to play his style of game and after the fifteenth he's probably more valuable in trade than he is as a player on this roster.

It's extremely frustrating to say the least.

I sure wish we could land G. Wallace. A player that doesn't have to have shots to be effective, diverse enough to play multiple positions and a hustle player.

I think it's hilarious that Miller is back on the bench, while Blake has been allowed to suck it up all year.
