Yeah, yeah, yeah - which means he'll still be playing in the NBA after Sergio has gone back to Europe with his tail tucked between his legs.

By the way, notice that Steve Blake dropped 25 points in that one!

Yes. Has Miller ever outscored all of the starters COMBINED on his team? Answer: No.

Starters had 20. Sergio had 23. Miller's never done that.

How do you know? Have you went through his ENTIRE career and searched?

By the way, I realize this is basically impossible for Andre since he's been part of the starting lineup for his entire career. He can't outscore himself.

That's because he's been a starter on every team he's played for. Christ you crack me up.

    OK weird digression here.

On ESPN (Dailey Dime) they made a very surprising claim: the Blazers are significantly better offensively with Oden on the floor, but significantly LESS efficient on defense.

(IIRC, the numbers they threw out were +11 points per 100 posessions on offense, but 7 points worse per 100 posessions on defense)

Any stat-rats here have a response/answer? Is Joel still that much better on defense - or is this one of those stats that has too much "white noise" to be meaningful?

Ah, so THAT'S how YOU determine a player's value. That explains a LOT.

So, by your criteria, this guy must be the GOAT:

You need a couple seasons of data to verify +/- Bottom line his defensive rating is the best in the league right now, Joel is right there with him and Oden's PER differential is something like 21 vs. 9 which means he's utterly dominating opposing centers.

I think as much of a ballhog as he is he'd have a shot at it.

i'm not comparing him to miller. just pointing out that your assertion sergio has had lots of better games in his career than tonight's is bullshit.

So what you're really saying is that when Sergio had that 23/10 game he was being a ballhog? Interesting, I'd never thought about it that way.

So, your pinning the fact that Andre ever played on a team so shitty that it's starting 5 scored 20 total points in a game? Brilliant.

especially when you consider that Andre himself is a starter, and therefore can't actually outscore the starting 5.

    Just havin' some fun.

Great game (against a horrible team with no center). Nice to be back to a logical line-up, but will Nate stick with it? :dunno:

No shit. Seems like Maris is the only one heartbroken over Sergio leaving Portland. Sergio wanted out and the Blazers were so eager to get rid of him they PAID the Kings to take him.

He's gone, he still sucks, deal with it. Either move on or go post the Sergio love on the Kings forum where it belongs (for now).

You sell Noah and Miller short ... LMA and Oden were just that much more dominant tonight.

    But yes, great game.
