I just got a call from the Detective on the case about my son. He said that he is very close to an arrest. He just needs my permission to look at the medical records from when my son was at the hospital to finalize some evidence and make an arrest! I asked him if the suspects have changed. They have not. Still my sons mothers boyfriend. Possibly my sons mother as well. I feel closure is coming and this is going to be put to rest, at least for now. I really feel great that someone is finally going to pay for beating up my 1 year old son. I feel a weight has been lifted off my chest, even though no arrests have been made. It feel really good that it is close. Just wanted to let anyone who cares know! A LOT of you supported me and kept me sane while I was in the hospital with my son. I thank you all again.
AWESOME. Glad to hear that potential closure is coming. And glad that all the well wishes helped your sanity. but mostly i am super glad to hear your sons health is improved since the incident!
Good luck man. I know nothing will ever be the same for you again, but hopefully it all works out and helps you get some closure. I just don't understand why people who are having a hard time dealing with kids, just don't go get some professional help. It is available out there for those who need it, even if you don't have money.
He is doing really well! He has not had another seizure. He is growing and learning just fine We have another MRI on the 2nd of December to check and see if the blood has resorbed! I am excited for that, I think it has gone down!
I know man! If it does turn out to be the guy (which it is looking like) then I am going to tell all the news outlets I can!!! Especially my ex wifes father being who he is. This could be ALL over the news.
sounds like he is gonna be serving some serious time as well, no? and he'll get fucked up in jail by the other inmates
I'm happy for your closure, man. I don't know how you kept your composure, I would've handled it myself more than likely and more than likely, I'd be sitting in a jail cell. I applaud your patience. If I was out there, I'd buy you a beer. Hope all is well with your son.
Not sure how much time he\they will get. I would hope at least 1 year. You get 1 year for domestic violence, but that is on another adult. I would hope it is more severe for an adult hurting a 1 year old child. It was\is hard man. But if I lose my cool and do something to this guy, I would have lost my son. So, I am letting the law and the Lord take care of that guy for me. Thank you all for your continued love and support.
