This is the exact type of thing that happens when a team is going bad. You lose a top player to a naggin injury and the naggin injury turns into months or season ending. They are saying bruise now but man.... could you imagine micro fracture for LA? The way this season has gone.... i almost bet that LA misses a significant amount of time. It must be bad if the guy couldnt play last night with 3 days off following.

Quicks says LA expects to play Sat but thats iffy IMO

Well what's the point of worrying about it? It's either no big deal or it is and that isn't going to change by speculating. At this point it would offer up an awfully convenient excuse for the team completely sucking ass and getting lots of lottery balls this coming May

if we lost la... we wouldn't win 25 games.

however a top 5 pick might get us that elite sg or sf we so badly need. yah im thinking that bad. we might only be better then the twolves and nets. we suck badly.

I'm shooting for the moon; Derrick Favors, John Wall or bust.

Currently we're projected to take this guy:
    Tyshawn Talor

I can't wait to see another young point guard sitting on the pine behind Bayless, Mills, Miller and Blake

Just think. It could be awesome, another big time lottery party at the Agency in Downtown Portland ... all those ping-pong balls, all that tension, the promise of a brighter tomorrow, and then a huge draft day blowout at the RG where thousands of fans spill on to the floor when David Stern announces, "With the 8th overall pick in the 2010 draft, the Portland Trailblazers select ..."

    Can't wait!! :ghoti:

I hate to say this but I wish Blake would go down for a month so Miller and Bayless could play where they should.

Given the Blazer' history of underplaying injuries and feeding false hopes, I can see why people would be nervous. Remember Oden's "knee contusion" last season? He was out twice as long as the team predicted.

He did last year. Team went 8-5. Blake didn't get Wally Pipp-ed.

If we lost LA, we'd have to trade any combination of Blake, Miller, or Outlaw for a serviceable PF.
