http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=5914330n&tag=related;photovideo For those that missed it. Interesting stuff...really makes me sick that the NBA refs are so biased/bitches. Just ref the game--stop reffing with an ego.
Interesting that he tried to make it seem like he never made calls to influence the game. He said he more or less used inside information about referee bias/hatred of certain players to insure his success rate. Otherwise, how would you explain he only won like 77% of the bets he made? The stuff about AI and how the refs conspired against him was crazy ass. You know that the same happened to Sheed, and probably why he was here. Hell it probably costs us a NBA championship.
If it came out that the NBA was rigged with incontrovertible evidence that would be the greatest thing ever. LA and Boston fans would cry new rivers and Portland, Dallas and Sac Town fans could hoist the banners in their minds eye.
I have not doubted that for one instant. The games the refs played with Sheed the next two years were sickening, but not as sickening and the job they did on us in game seven.
After hearing what Tim would do each night to decide who to bet against makes me admire his work ethic. Calling up the refs before each game and getting inside information. Surprised it took this long for a ref to figure out/actually carry out this scheme. I prefer refs like Tim who bet to make money vs refs who are just jackasses that have egos and don't call the game fairly because they want to "get back at a player" who is making MILLIONS and could care less if they're being treated unfairly be a ref.
