I paid more attention to the lack of people in the stands. I guess the Pacers are really bad. Then I saw this box score with the attendance.
You got to be kidding me. The attendance looked like 8500 via comcast sportsnet (channel 37).

Huh ...wah ... uhhh? Did you just say Blake was penetrating and dishing? Oh my fucking lord. Do actually watch these games? Blake is called "Soft Core" over at the RealGM boards for a reason (ie. there's no penetration). I'm not saying Blake is total garbage at passing around the horn and running an occasional side pick and pop, but this assertion that he drives and dishes is beyond funny. I feel like repping you just for the laugh factor.

He made at least one sweet drive and dish tonight. Joel was the beneficiary. :dunno:

I do. Apparently you don't. In that one game where Greg really flourished against Minnesota. Blake penetrated and dished FOUR times to set up Greg for wide open dunks. Go look up the stats. Blake has had the most inside assists of anyone on the team. By a mile. But people seem to close their eyes when he does all of this.

HAHAHAHAH! They don't exist?? Of COURSE they do. Go to each game on NBA.com and click on Play By Play. Then count all of the assists that Blake had for Oden. They're right there.

Man... look at those stats again. Miller= SEVEN. SEVEN! In like 20 games, he got Oden a basket SEVEN times! And yet everyone says that Blake doesn't get Oden the ball.

Take those stats with a grain of salt, do you know the amount of minutes Miller plays with Oden compared to the amount of minutes Blake plays with Oden?

Yeah, I watch all the games ... again. This "Drive and dish Steve" of which you speak does not exist. I've seen "Around the Horn Steve" and "Overdribble and bail Steve" and usually "Catch and Shoot Steve", but to claim that Steve drives and somehow regularly collpases defenses to create looks for teammates is just beyond ridiculous.

Entry passes where Oden waits for his teammate to clear doesn't count as an assist, and maybe Greg misses some of the shots that Miller sets up that could be an assist. Assists aren't necessarily the best measuring tool here.

Those also rarely count as points because Oden doesn't have a great post game. But when Blake sets up Oden for wide open dunks, he can't miss!

You're like the king of the single sample.

Almost any player can occasionally get hot and step outside of themselves, but Blake's completely anemic free throw rate for his whole career backs up what I see from Blake in general and that is he does not penetrate into the lane, he does not collapse defenses, and he doesn't create opportunities for his teammates. Not never, but close enough to never that it's not enough of a difference to worry about.

Blake's draw foul rate is 1.3%

Think about that for a second. Blake gets fouled on 1.3% of his possessions ... does that sound like the calling card of a player who penetrates into the lane?

Well, now I have a whole new problem here guys. I have no idea who is more stubborn, the Blazers coaching staff or KingSpeed? They are neck and neck coming down the stretch.
