But it's not. That's the problem.. You ignore facts. What you think doesn't matter. Blake shoots 37% from three while Miller only shoots 21% from three. Those are the facts. But you choose to think otherwise.

Blake shot 42% from three in that series. Bayless was a rookie who had hardly played and Miller was busy shooting 30% from three point line in Philly's first round series.

The reason we will beat the CAVS tonight is because of Blakes stellar D on Mo Williams,

If we trade for a Caron Butler, what happens to Batum?

Back up SF. I like trading for Jamison though. He can play both SF and PF. That is what Outlaw gave us. That is what we desperately need in his place.

Dude why does that even matter?

    Blake >>>> Batum

We need to ensure that Blake is happy first

That's not what I asked you. Would you want someone like that in the game with the game on the line? That was the ultimate example of choking when your team needs you. There were 15 seconds left, we had Rudy, Outlaw, and Batum in there (all who can shoot) and Blake jacked up some terrible off-balance three.

    What say you?

Right after Houston made the free throws, we saw exactly what rudy can do in pressure situations needing a three, even once this year....

If we need a three only two people should be shooting, Roy and Rudy

That goes to my earlier point. Blake is fine when not asked to do something. But, like in that airball clip, when asked or needed to do something, well....

As for Butler and Batum, I think we would likely see a few lineups consisting of Roy-Batum-Butler on the floor at the same time.

Well, obviously this was a hypothetical. Both of them are smart enough to not have taken such a retarded shot right there though, however.

The idea here is Blake is useful when he does nothing and executes a pattern of 100% deferral and sits in the corners.

It was one play. He played much better outside of that play including COMPLETELY SHUTTING DOWN AARON BROOKS that game. To hold one play against him is unfair. Kobe shot three airballs in his first year in the playoffs and he went on to win 4 championships. It happens. It wasn't Blake's first playoffs, but he did lots of other good things for us. His assists were up and he completely shut down Brooks in Games 3, 4, & 5. Don't be so distracted by that one shot.

I'm all for Caron Butler as long as he doesn't cut into Blakey's minutes.

But Blake was our best three point shooter during the season last year. How could you not want the guy who shot the best percentage? Also, Blake shot 42% from three during that series.

At this point, you're not yelling at Eric anymore; you're yelling at McMillan.

If you call the matador defense technique complete shutdown...Brooks tore Blake apart the entire series in 1v1 situations, leaving our bigs as a last resort to stop Brooks. They are the ones who should be getting credit for shutting down Brooks.

Dude....Blake was our best three point shooter CAUSE HE WAS ALWAYS OPEN...

Thats why Batum (who isnt a three shooter) had almost the same % as OUTLAW ur boy

And Outlaw is >>> Batum at shooting 3's

    come on...

Blake cant create his own three, and by simple analysis 4 Blazer players are better at shooting threes than blake

    Roy
    Rudy
    Outlaw
    Webster(before injury)

He shot 417, Rudy 421, so he should have deferred. Rudy was better. :ghoti:

All he does? Blake plays the best defense of any of our PGs and he was setting up Oden for more easy baskets than anyone else on the team.

Also- Roy gets the ball at the end. Not Miller. If Roy has the ball, we need a PG who can hit the three. Look at the Bulls 91-93. Jordan needed to be able to kick it to Paxson. Kobe has Fisher. Roy needs Blake or another point guard who can hit the three.
