My hearing and voice are shot today. Went to see Papa Roach, Shinedown and Halestorm last night and had a blast. I haven't had that much fun at a concert in quite a while. I went in hoping Shinedown was headliner and came away beyond happy that Papa Roach was. They put on an awesome show, Jacoby Shaddix is quite possibly the most charismatic lead singer I've seen. And according to him, they also recorded a live album last night, whether or not that's true, who knows, but that'd be cool. Oh yea, Shinedown was also awesome, and Halestorm was good too.
Surprisingly Romo's numbers haven't been bad at all so far into December, but Dallas just can't win. Oh well, the prophecy will fulfill itself one way or another. and LOL @ Russell
I blame Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett. Romo is doing what's asked of him and is putting up very good numbers right now. Too bad his o-coord and head coaches are morons. Garrett still doesn't call a very good offense and I just don't think Phillips is hard enough. He's too laid back and I think it rubs off on his players, because I don't think they're ever ready enough come Sundays. Oh well, if the 'Boys don't win a playoff game this year, at least one of them will be gone, hopefully both.
I thought you guys had a good game plan for the most part. Our weakest strength is stopping the run. You guys had a drive that was run dominated and got you down the field 70+ yards. However, that drive was stuffed on the 1 yard line multiple times by our D. You guys had your chances, but couldn't capitalize. We had our chances to put the game further out of reach than it was with a minute left, and we failed, too. It was closer than I thought, TBH. Romo looked good, but predictable. He was sitting on Witten. Stephen Cooper dropped two INT's just by shadowing Witten I believe. Romo got lucky :] He had 3 picks dropped. :] Good game though, Moo.
Coaching winter IYBL High School again this year. 5 games into season and we lose to the other undefeated team by 2. 4th Q fouls: 13-3 in the other team's favor. My PF gets undercutted (horizontal to ground at one point), no foul called. Other player gets elbow to hand grabbed on a layup attempt, no call. One of their players trip over his own feet, foul called on us. Kid on their team comes over to taunt me (the fucking coach), and I tell him to watch his mouth, ref tells me to shut up and doesn't say a word to the kid. Bullshit game, and THAT was just parts of the 4th Q. Don't get me started on the rest of this bullshit game.
Well Dallas dropped one or two interceptions as well. It pretty much all cancels out so no biggie. :] I like mixing it up at the goal line, that's where Dallas messed up. The Cowboys are talented enough to have a shot at the post-season.
I was ok with running the ball at the one, I just think they should have called a sneak on one of those plays instead of giving the ball to Barber every single time.
FML... Lackey about to sign in Boston (Thrilla was right, props to him) and we're close to signing Matsui to DH. How does Halladay and Bay turn into losing Lackey and getting Matsui? I hate the Angels' front office men. They move so slowly in discussions.
Lackey is reported to be signing for 5 years, $85 million. Bye Big John. Not a true ace, but a good pitcher.
