You do have to hand it to Nate for riding out the guys that were getting it done. He stayed with Webster at PF for the whole 4th quarter!
Are you serious? So many key baskets. Amazing defense. A clutch block. Two clutch steals. And the rebound that won the game. His best performance by far. When has he had a better 4th quarter? Answer: Never.
I dropped the stream at the end of the game, were they saying they need to put B-Rex in as a starter?
Probably his best overall game in terms of rebounding, defending, taking it to the hoop, as well as hitting timely shots. He had a very good game.
To be fair, "THE" quarter was better than this 4th quarter. But still, he was fantastic late tonight.
They were amazed that a guy with as much talent as him was playing only 11 mpg behind "some of the guys ahead of him."
They were just saying that Bayless is better than the guys who have been playing ahead of him and that he should be playing more than the 11 mpg he's been averaging this season.
I disagree. Yes, he hit a bunch of shots in a row, but it was Outlaw who put that game away in the 4th. Webster was doing his magic in the 4th tonight and it's not just about shots. It's about defense and rebounding. And he got it done for us. He's really a SG and he played PF for us tonight and actually dominated while doing it.
